How far is the Staples Center from the Sheraton Los Angeles - downtown. Can I get their by subway (metro). In addition, any opinions on this hotel?

It%26#39;s quite close to the Staples center, one of the closest hotels I believe.

The hotel just changed to the Sheraton from the Hyatt recently. I stayed at it when it was the Hyatt and wasnt all that impressed. I think that there are better choices downtown, such as the Omni or even the Bonaventure.

And to be honest, I%26#39;m not sure where the metro runs, but you can check their website at www.metro.net, I believe.

Both the blue line and the red line are directly across the street from the Sheraton. The Staples Center is only one stop South on the blue line. It%26#39;s only 5 blocks so you can easily walk the distance if you choose.

You can walk to the Staples Center from that hotel.

The only thing I know about that hotel is that it%26#39;s got a small shopping mall on the bottom floor.
