Hey there!
Thanks for all of your replies. I knew that this couldn%26#39;t be true! If you could also recommend a few pbars or clubs that we could go to that would be cool. Especially Hobbes310 as my husband wears vans a lot being a skater so you might have a similiar taste in bars etc. But feel free anybody else to chip in to as we have 14 nights which gives us plenty of time to go to quite a few.
Cheers

Sneakers in LA part 2
I think you already metioned you were going there, but my favorite is the Troubador. http://www.troubadour.com/
To really experience the L.A. rock scene you should also hit at least one of these:
The Whiskey -

The Roxy -

Key Club - http://www.keyclub.com/
For any and all bar/club/concert ideas you can always check out the L.A. Weekly%26#39;s Music Section - http://www.laweekly.com/music/
The LA Weekly is put out in print every week and is free. You can find it at almost any newspaper/magazine stand and at a lot of coffee shops. It%26#39;s a great resource to see what%26#39;s going on that week in music, movies, theatre etc.

Most acts at the Whiskey pay to play there, so the talent isn%26#39;t always stellar. The ';LA Weekly'; had a funny article about it at:

Yeah, it%26#39;s definitely not what it used to be. But it still is a rock icon / history in L.A.
That%26#39;s why my place of choice is the Troubadour.
