SFO: How long it takes to clear customs....

Hello all...

I%26#39;m a Bay Area native %26amp; I have a friend coming over here from Germany. He lands this evening, and he%26#39;s coming via a work visa.

How long would it take for him to clear customs?

You know how it is....don%26#39;t want to pay an arm and a leg for parking... :)

Depends on how many flights land at the same time. If it%26#39;s just the one flight and there%26#39;s no one in line, then he%26#39;ll breeze through. If there are 2 or 3 (common), then it%26#39;s about an hour.

did not take any time at all late afternoon. however, work visa might take longer than US citizen.

if you don%26#39;t wan%26#39;t to pay for parking have him ring you with his cellphone after he lands.

also, parking is cheaper in the international terminal than the domestic terminal

finally you could park in bart and wait there for free.
