Restaurants in San Diego

Hi,

I will be in San Diego for four nights and was wondering if you could recommend some nice places for breakfast/lunch/dinner. I am staying in Coronado at the Glorietta Bay Inn which has breakfast but we may try something different for a change.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Shazia

P.S Thanks Chissis again for your help in letting ne decde between Coronado and La Jolla. I am looking forward to the trip.

Restaurants in San Diego

There are so many great restaurants on Coronado and nearby downtown, it%26#39;s really difficult to narrow it down, but here%26#39;s a few:

Cafe 222 downtown is great for breakfast; I love Grand Central Cafe on Broadway for lunch - it%26#39;s really busy and fun, and has a million options, for dinner my favorites are the Fish Market on the bay, Croce%26#39;s in the Gaslamp, and Blue Point Coastal Cuisine on 5th %26amp; Market; also Prado in Balboa Park has a great atmosphere for dinner.

On Coronado, I love Peohe%26#39;s for views of San Diego, and their key lime pie; adore the Miracle Mile NY style deli on Orange Avenue for Lunch, love Brigatine anytime, and Rhinoceros Cafe for dinner, Palm Court at Hotel Del for high tea.... lots of choices.

If you happen to get to La Jolla for Breakfast or lunch, don%26#39;t miss Harry%26#39;s Coffee Shop - been around since the %26#39;50%26#39;s for a reason, and if you%26#39;re in Banker%26#39;s Hill (just north of downtown on First) another old time favorite is the Hob Nob - the waitresses still wear uniforms. Very good food.

Buon Appetito and Voyage in Little Italy are both great for lunch (or dinner) and Corvette Diner in Hillcrest is great fun for any meal - 50%26#39;s style roller skating atmosphere.

So many choices......Have a fantastic trip!!!
