What airlines do you fly from either San Fran. or Oakland to JFK, La Guardia or Newark, NJ? Primary requirements are non-stop flights and low fares, so cattle car environ. will be tolerated. Thanks!

I vote for Jet Blue too. Oakland used to be easier than SFO (even though we live in the City!), so it was a real no-brainer. The planes are great, and the non-stop flight is a real plus. In my experience, they have the least expensive non-stops.

Now that getting to SFO by BART is so easy, it would be a little more convenient if you can get a comperable fare to SFO, but I got such good service from Jet Blue that we will continue to use them through Oakland. Just remember to bring soethign to eat! We take deli sandwiches.

Just realized you are GOING to NYC, not coming.

Definitely use Oakland. The access is easier (although you have to deal with the Bayshore, but that%26#39;s just 2 miles or so), and the parking is cheaper. Go to www.parkingcompany.com/oakland/index.html

and get a coupon, and it%26#39;s even cheaper!

Jet Blue was great, and no cattle car environ- in fact, I was pleased to see a short check -in line compared with all the other airlines. And the planes are comfy, too. If you reserve the seats a little farther back, they have a bit more leg room.

If SFO suits you better, I believe Song just introduced flights into NYC as well, but I%26#39;ve never flown them.
