Need Help - Travel from San Diego to Las Vegas

Hey,

Just wondering what the best way of travelling from San Diego to Las Vegas is? We shall be leaving on a Monday. As we are Australians we dont want to drive... not too confident driving on the other side of the road :)

Occasionally, Southwest or America West airlines have rates as low as $39 each way to Las Vegas. Because you are leaving on a Monday rather than a weekend, you may be able to find a great rate. Be sure to check these airlines websites out, and as a back up, try Travelzoo%26#39;s website:

You may also want to look into the rates Amtrak offers. Im not a big fan of trains, but this may be an option for you. I frequently go to vegas, and I always fly.

I think naven has given you great advice, flying is definitely the way to go.. unless you really want to work out the kinks in your driving on the other side of the road...it%26#39;s a long, long, long drive...lots of straight aways, long long long....well, you get it. You probably have enough of your dry, desert area to see in your own country.

The train would be interesting, but a long long long trip, as well...

Seems like a plane is the way to go.. A long, long, long trip doesnt sound like too much fun..

I%26#39;ve seen $39 airfares from Jet Blue airlines (they have TVs on their planes) but they leave from Long Beach airport which is a couple of hours north of San Diego.
