Has anyone stayed in the Regency Club rooms. Is it worth the upgrade?

The upgrade to Regency Club is about access to food and beverage more than room quality. Regency Club gives you access to the Club Room. In the Club Room, they serve breakfast, they sometimes have afternoon sodas, waters, tea, they have happy hour food and beverages and late night appertifs. There is also the Club Room Staff that is there to answer questions and be your concierge. The Regency Club rooms may have upgraded towels, robes or little things like that. The upgrade in cost is mostly for the access to the Club Room. The breakfast and other food/drinks served varies from Hyatt to Hyatt. Some are spectacular deals and others are so-so.

I would never pay extra for lounge access. Simply join the Hyatt rewards club and ask for lounge access when you checkin. Or simply go up the elevator or stairs which is what we do. No reason to pay extra for the lounge.
