We will be staying at the Residence Inn Garden Grove in October, can anyone advise if this is a safe area to walk at night?
Any advice on this area would be helpful, thankyou.
Garden Grove area safe at night?
I have not stayed here yet as we have plans for next April at the exact same hotel and I asked the same question on a different forum and was advise it is a great family area and is definitely safe. I was also told there are many family restaurants all within a walking distance of the hotel and if I am not mistaken a Targets store is across the street. Not sure if you have a Targets in Australia but it%26#39;s the type of store that sells just about everything from snacks to shampoo. Hope this helps and have fun. The Residence Inn is suppose to be the best rated hotel in Garden Grove.
Garden Grove area safe at night?
Thankyou joannotoole for your wonderful advice!
This certainly helps to put our minds at rest!
You need to do what I do when traveling.....call the local police dept and fire dept and ask about safety. Tell them you are traveling with an elderly handicapped lady and if they would feel comfortable if it was their mother in that area. Works all the time for me.
Hello My name is Valerie, and I wanted to tell you that we have stayed in garden grove about 10 times now and i have never had a problem its very safe and clean we have walked down the street with our 2 year old daughter and its extremly safe and comfortable. we are going to the residence inn again this year and its very nice as well as safe.
I hope this helps =)
I drove through the area and remember shopping at the Target as I was staying in Costa Mesa. The immediate area seemed safe to me. I%26#39;d say the most dangerous thing in the states is looking both ways before you cross the street.
