can anyone tell me the best way to go for 3 people eg Taxi or Hotel shuttle if available and cost if you know
Best transfer from LAX to Anheim
Taxi is probably costly. You can get a shuttle bus with drop offs at all the major hotels in Anaheim area
www.socaltours.com or www.grayline.com
This was suggested by the Anaheim Marriott Hotel
OR
take a shuttle van which will pick up a maximum of three parties and take you to the three destinations. Super Shuttle is in all major US airports so do a search online for that.
There are other shuttle van services but LAX has some rules about which companies can access the terminals.
Once you get your bags you exit the baggage claim on to the road where you will see a center sidewalk with clear signs about where the different transportation companies stop. Give your info to the appropriate assistant to check you in and he calls the vehicle. If you can book online, I suggest you do that and get your reservation number. Otherwise there are courtesy phones in the baggage claim areas.

Someone asked this same question one week ago, except they had four people. Note that the companies that offer shared ride vans also have slightly more expensive services that allow you exclusive use the van (i.e., you don%26#39;t share it with anyone else, you don%26#39;t have to circle the airport twice to pick up any other passengers, wait for others to be dropped off, etc.)
Here%26#39;s my reply from last week:
The short answer: reserve a shared ride van.
If you get a sedan-sized cab, then three people will have to squeeze into the back seat and another person will share the front seat with the driver. A minivan-sized cab (there are some, but they%26#39;re not as popular) would fit more, but I%26#39;m not sure if you can reserve one of those in advance.
It%26#39;s approximately 35 miles from LAX to Anaheim. According to:
http://www.la-taxi.com/
the fare would be (one fare for all four people) about $75.00. That%26#39;s assuming you can all get into a single cab and traffic doesn%26#39;t significantly delay your trip, which is usually not the case.
There are four cab companies that are allowed to service LAX. I only checked one (';L.A. Taxi/United Checker Cab';) at random. Others might have a lower price. Only cab trips between LAX and downtown Los Angeles have a fixed fare.
As for shared ride vans, Super Shuttle is quoting a fare (for four people in a shared van from LAX to Anaheim) of $65.00.
In addition to Super Shuttle the only other shared ride van company that%26#39;s allowed to operate at LAX is Prime Time Shuttle.
Here are the URLs for both:

I%26#39;ve never taken cabs or the shared ride vans from LAX to Anaheim, since I live closer to LAX in Hermosa Beach in Los Angeles County, so I can%26#39;t speak from experience. Based on what I saw, I%26#39;d make a reservation with one of the shared ride van companies and not take a cab.
To get to the cab and shuttle area from the airport, just exit the baggage claim area and look for the color-coded signs overhead. The shared ride van waiting area has an orange sign of a the front of a bus with a dollar sign over it. Cab waiting areas have a yellow sign with a picture of the font of a car on it.
Here%26#39;s a good site run by the company that operates LAX:

There is a big Anaheim-only bus that%26#39;s all covered with Disney characters. It must be hourly at least, because I see one almost everytime I am waiting for a hotel or car rental shuttle outside baggage claim at LAX. I don%26#39;t know the company, though.
An experience I%26#39;ve had with services like Super Shuttle at LAX (NOT Super Shuttle, however) is that they will drive round and round the airport until they fill up. This can be tedious at night.
Firewind: The bus referred to is the Disneyland Resort Express bus operated by Gray Line. They run from LAX every 30 minutes between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. with the last bus at 12:00 a.m. The fare is $19 one way, $28 RT for adults -- $16 one way, $20 for children. For more info:

LAX has a lot of good transportation facility available. There are large number of shuttle bus services along with limos and AAA cars which directly runs from LAX to the outskirts of the city. These services costs less and are very good.
