Alcatraz evening tour - What will we miss?

I%26#39;m looking at the Alcatraz evening tour and day tour and we are thinking about going on the evening tour.

However on the website it says that stuff that is open during the day is shut in the evening.

What do you miss by going on the evening tour, that you can see on the day tour?

As far as I know you won%26#39;t miss anything. There maybe a few things that you will not be able to see because of darkness like the morgue, which is just a couple walls and a caved in roof. Everything worth seeing is well lit.

What you do get is a peersonal guide that you can ask questions of, the audio/headphone tour which is excellent, your choice of several other guided tours and a great view of the City Lights.

You will miss nothing. The evening tour is even better than the day tour.

The only thing that you might not get to do is hike around the entire island, though it is pretty well lit up. But most of the interesting stuff is inside the old prison walls, and that will be open and well lit.
