Any supermarkets by DL? If so where?
TIA!
Supermarkets by DL
None within walking distance that I can think of - if you%26#39;re driving, pretty much any direction will get you to one. Depends on the hotel, too - where are you staying?
Supermarkets by DL
We do plan on renting a car on the first day to run grocery errands. We%26#39;re staying at Fairfield Inn. We plan to get to Costco for the SoCal passes.
Head south on Harbor Blvd, past Katella Ave and approx. 5 blocks away you%26#39;ll come to Albertsons. Or get on the F5(?) and head over to Santa Ana Plaza. There%26#39;s Gigante and Smart %26amp; Final both great supermarkets and they%26#39;re right next door to each other.
I plan to buy mine at Costco on arrival too and am staying at the Fairfield Inn too. Do you have directions for getting there, and are they open on sundays? We are arriving in the afternoon. As far as I can see one has to head south on harbour boulevard . Thanks
Katsie
This was previously mentioned on the Anaheim Forum titled: ';safeways, etc... around disneyland?'; by cass165 from vancouver , bc. on July 4, 2005 at 3:59 pm. It%26#39;s about 6 pages back...
Katsie,
Costco is about 2 miles away from your Anaheim Fairfield Inn on Harbor Blvd..
Costco- garden grove. at 11000 garden grove blvd., # (714) 638-6316. (costco.com)
(Driving directions, am sending you in a loop rather than making a u-turn on Harbor, and also to avoid all the car traffic going into Disney%26#39;s Main Gate Entrance from Harbor Blvd.)
From Fairfield Inn, drive north towards the I-5 freeway) and then make a left turn onto Ball Road. Make a left turn onto West Street. Drive down West Street past Chapman Ave.. (we%26#39;re going around the Disney premises) Make a right turn onto Garden Grove Blvd. Drive past North Euclid Street. You%26#39;ll see Costco on the left, just past the Main Street intersect that will be on your right side.
Or if you want to just stay on Harbor Blvd., then make a u-turn at BAll Road and Harbor Blvd. Drive down Harbor Blvd. past Chapman Ave.. Then make a right turn onto Garden Grove Blvd. and drive past West Street and North Euclid Street.
(When folks say ';blocks'; here... 1 block=1/2 mile!)
Vicki...
Vicki, you are a dear!!!!
Thanks, Katsie

what kind of pass is this??
How much cheaper are the costco passes. Do u have to be a socal resident?
The Socal passes are Southern California City Passes. Normally they are $185 for adults and at Costco they are $165,. Quite a substantial saving. They include a three day parkhopper ticket at Disney, Knotts berry farm and Seaworld, as well as one of San Diego Zoo or the Wild animal Park.
You don%26#39;t have to be a southern california resident to buy them or belong to COstco.
