Can anyone help me with the cost of tolls on the Oakland bridge and San Mateo bridge. It would be useful to know in advance how much it will be and more importantly how you pay it! Does every car have to stop and hand money over, or is there another way of doing it! Please help this sad uninformed English woman.
Tolls on bridges
All of the bridges except the Golden Gate Bridge are $3.00 for a car. You must stop and pay the toll collector unless you have a Fasttrak device. The Golden Gate Bridge is $5.00. On the Bay Bridge and San Mateo Bridge, you pay when you are heading in the West bound direction. The Golden Gate Bridge you pay in the South bound direction.
