What is the BEST hotel in LA?

Top of the line, which hotel is the best?

What is the BEST hotel in LA?

L.A. is very spread out. There are a NUMBER of excellent hotels. What part of the L.A. metro area are you interested in:

Downtown

Beverly Hills

Century City

Hollywood

Santa Monica

Also, are you looking for a large hotel with extensive business services (conference rooms. business center, etc) or are you looking for a romantic boutique hotel? Tell us more about why you are looking for the BEST hotel?

What is the BEST hotel in LA?

I agree with hopskipjump regarding your preferences. If you go by Travel and Leisure magazine(2005%26#39;s T%26amp;L top 500), the Peninsula in Beverly Hills is rated #1 in the LA area.

We%26#39;re currently booked at the 4S in BH. But I%26#39;ve read it could use an update. Does the Penninsula regulary outscore the 4S?

Not looking for business or boutique. Vacation. Service. Amenities. Bedding. Service again. Pool (although April may or may not be pool weather?). Location to a certain degree but no matter what we%26#39;ve got to drive all over LA to see the sites, correct?

just come back from the 4seaons in beverly hills- we were there last weekend- dont change ur booking- its an awesome hotel- great service/great food/amenities/ and a great conceirge. Not to mention the use of the house car- the bentley- free of charge to pick you from the shopping mall etc.

Also, we saw so many celebs at this hotel- they come for breakfast/lunch and to hang out in the bar. We saw quite a few on the elevators too.

We did a few tours from this hotel- one to newport beach/laguna beach and also went to universal studios/disney. The location of the hotel is great and if u like shopping the beverly hills mall is 5min drive- and we used the bently house car to get there and back. Such a great vacation and we have stayed in numerous 5 star and 4 seasons hotels round the world.

The Four Seasons Beverly Hills also scored well on T%26amp;L top 500. You also got a nice review of this hotel from the post above. Regarding Peninsula and Four Seasons, on Tripadvisor Bevely HIlls, the Peninsula ranks a little higher than Four Seasons.

Best:

4 Seasons

Peninsula

L%26#39;Ermitage

Shutters

Casa del Mar

Le Merigot

Sunset Marquis

also Hotel Bel Air

I%26#39;d have to say that if you%26#39;re on vacation, you might consider the Santa Monica hotels -- Shutters and Casa del Mar are amazing and right on the beach. Get the ocean views and you%26#39;ll be very happy. Also, they are located where you can walk to restaurants and shops and get a sense of LA outside of the car.

Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey is top notch, too.

Ah -- yes! The Ritz Carlton in Pasadena, too
