We would like to go to California over Easter break and was wondering what the weather is like that time of year. We visited La Jolla last August and just fell in love but would like to venture north a bit and see something different. Is April the rainy/mud slide season we often hear about? Thanks

There really isn%26#39;t a rainy season in so cal. Once you get north of santa barbara you could hit some weather, and it definitely gets cooler (the water will still be in the mid-low 60%26#39;s even in so cal) but generally APril is springtime and a beautiful time for a drive up the coast without the crowds of summer.
