My friend stayed in a hotel in pismo beach (i think) and the hotel had a hot tub on the balcony looking out onto the beach, does anyone know the name of this hotel or have a web address for it, thanks

We%26#39;ve stayed there and its a nice stay - easy walk out to the beach area. The key thing is that you need to ask for the rooms with the view of the ocean and the hot tub on it. The hot tub is nice as only you use it during the stay.

We%26#39;ve stayed at Sea Venture several times. The rooms are a bit on the small side (we booked two rooms when we traveled with all the kids) but the location is very, very nice, right on the beach.
The hotel offers many nice amenities such as complimentary surrey bikes and beach chairs, also the breakfast is delivered to your room in a picnic basket and there is a nice oceanview restaurant on the property. The soft-tub jacuzzis are really nice, not too many places offer your own private outdoor spa. Have fun! They have a website also. :)
