We really like Robata in the Barnyard in Carmel. We do not like Jugem, or Kyoto in Monterey.

Are there any gems that we have not found?

We tried Shushi heaven, and it was such a nice change. Really good.

Koto Sushi is our fave.

They also own Na-Ra, great Korean resturaunt.

My daughter inlaw is from Japan and she likes the Crystal Fish on Lighthouse Avenue in New Monterey the best.

Ichi-Riki on Del Monte Blvd. on the Monterey-Seaside border is good. A lot of military people who%26#39;ve been stationed in Asia think it%26#39;s very good.
