Hi im a single young women who is thinking of moving to Santa Cruz for 6 weeks of the summer by myself,what are good areas to live in and what are the chances of finding a bar or waitressing job? Any other advice for me would be great!
Spending a summer in santa cruz
As far as living in Santa Cruz, most areas are fine except the area called the ';Beach Flats'; next to the Boardwalk. Advice for jobs would be try getting a seasonal job like a summer camp day care/teacher/counselor position. My daughter has been job searching and most restaurants are emphasizing long term committment. Although there%26#39;s a restaurant in Capitola called Zelda%26#39;s on the beach that always needs help. Finally the Seaside Co. that runs the Boardwalk needs seasonal work.
