What to do in L.A. for 1 day?

We are planning a last day of Vegas vacation trip to Los Angeles in April. Besides the Hollywood Stars Home Tour, what other sites should we see in one day before flying back home. We have a 9:45 pm flight on a Friday night, when the best time to head to LAX?

What to do in L.A. for 1 day?

If you want to be at LAX by 8:45 (1 hour before your departure), you%26#39;ll need to be at the rental car lot (I assume you have car) by 8:15. Going to the airport should take no more than 30 minutes from most neighborhoods in L.A. at that hour, so start for the aiport at about 7:45.

BTW, if you don%26#39;t have a car, you%26#39;ll need to either take a cab or allow for more time if you are using one of the shuttle services.

As far as what you should see, L.A, has such a large variety of tourist sights, it%26#39;s hard to make recommendations without know what interests you. Do you like:

1. Natural Beauty (Hills, Canyons, Beaches

3. Amusement Parks

4. Celebrity stuff, etc
