...that shows the Painted Lady Victorian homes with the skyline in the background? Thanks.
Where do I take the picture....?
Go to Alamo Square. It%26#39;s bordered by Steiner, Scott, Hayes and Fulton Streets. And stand on the grassy bank opposite the houses. If you want one of the really great skyline views you may need to get up a bit higher so you%26#39;ll have to take a stepladder or climb a tree ;-) But the view from ground level is still good.
have fun
Where do I take the picture....?
Good question... I%26#39;ve always looked for this on my trips to SF but haven%26#39;t ever been able to find the exact location. So many great views in that city.
You already have the Streets bordering Alamo Square ____where you need to be.
It is only around 10 blocks directly west from the Civic Centre but I wouldn%26#39;t walk it.
You dont say how you will be travelling.
If you have a car it is easy to find on the map.
If you are doing a city tour such as Grayline Tours they all usually stop there for a photo opportunity.
You can access public transport info on www.sfmuni.com and buses go right by .
