Disneyland or Downtown Disney Restaurant/ESPN Zone?

I need to make reservations for several restaurants since I am going during spring break which will be crowded. Any recommended restaurants would be great. I have reservations at Rainforest, Storyteller and Goofy%26#39;s Kitchen. I am looking for places for dinner and was thinking of ESPN Zone but wasn%26#39;t sure it is geared towards just a bunch on sports games on a big screen TVs. Wanted something interesting for my two kids to enjoy ages 13 and 6. Appreciate any advise. THANKS!

I enjoy the ESPN ZOne (Yes, I am a sports fan), but a group of friends, some who are not sports fans, went recently, and everyone enjoyed their meal, most of the time, the sound level is low (except for major chanmpionships), and the food is really good (basic american fare).

Upstairs is an interactive game area with lots of games that are sports related, a good chance to let the kids blow off some steam.

You can go to their website

to see the full menu, plus sign up for the free MVP club, which will give you priority seating.

And here is a good source of the area%26#39;s menus in general

ESPN zone is fun. It does have sports on TV, but also on the second floor they have a lot of fun arcade and interactive games (mostly sports theme) to have fun at. Given your children%26#39;s ages, I%26#39;d say they would have a good time. It will be busy - so agree with your plan about getting resrevations in advance. (Note: Goofy%26#39;s - your 6 year old will like; your 13 year old might not so taking them to ESPN will be nice to do for dinner on the same day so they both have something to look forward to.)

Storyteller%26#39;s Cafe is fun, the buffet is pretty good, too! Have you considered Blue Bayou at the Pirate%26#39;s of the Caribbean? We had a water table here in Nov. and it was really fun, food is average, but better than most places in the park! Have fun! :)

The Blue Bayou will be closed from March 6th thru June 24th to allow changes to Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.
