Hotel Circle - Hotel Suggestions

Looking for a nice hotel on Hotel Circle. Looking for a place that鈥檚 good for kids, pool and hot tub would be great! Any suggestions are appreciated! Would prefer not to spend more than 140.00 per night. Is that possible?

When are you coming - how many people? Is there a particular reason you%26#39;re limiting yourself to Hotel Circle? There are lots of nicer areas than Hotel Circle in your price range. Hotel Circle is pretty car-oriented, lots of traffic and congestion, and not as many things to do right in the general area. Not pedestrian friendly, and some hotels get a lot of traffic noise. More child-friendly areas would be the beaches, downtown-Little Italy, or Old Town. $140 is doable in those better areas.

I am no expert on SD, I%26#39;m located in the UK.

However, we have previously stayed within the hotel circle, and would definitely not choose that location again.

BTW, I took your advice Chissis, and have booked for Holiday Inn SD On The Bay.

May 26 - 29th my sister-in-law is graduating from USD. I hear that Hotel Circle is close. Not sure how many in our group yet...could be 6 adults and 4 kids.

Verras - Hotel circle is close, but it%26#39;s just a place to stay, that%26#39;s it. Just a couple miles further you could stay downtown, considerably better area, lot of things around to do and see, restaurants in easy walking distance, other near-by attractions, just a much better location.

Check out www.thebigbay.com -a couple reasonably priced suggestions - Hampton Inn on Pacific Highway, Super 8 on Columbia in Little Italy, Best Western Bayside, and as Daz4Me mentioned - the Holiday Inn on the Bay is also great and reasonably priced. There are also a suite hotel in the Gaslamp area of downtown - Gaslamp Plaza Suites - that has nice sized suites if you want to get quite a few people in one room and split the costs.

Another hotel in a nice location is the BestWestern Hacienda Hotel in Old Town - between downtown and hotel circle, but a really nice area, again with things to do, and place to walk in the evenings.
