VIP Experience - Universal Studios

Yes. Took the VIP tour just a few weeks ago. Booked it thru our hotel without asking the price. Was shocked to find out we would be paying triple the regular admission price but were very happy we did when the day was over. We planned to spend only one day at Universal and this is the way to do it on a limited schedule. No waiting in lines. Our group consisted of 16 people and we were ushered past long lines waiting for the rides and theater venues and we were shuttled behind the scenes which the regular tour does not see. We joined a noontime VIP tour which ended at park closing 8pm. Book an earlier tour so you have time to visit and see the things the VIP tour can%26#39;t squeeze in. The VIP tour will also validate your ticket which will permit unlimited entrance to Universal for one year free! Unfortunately, there is no AAA discount for the VIP tour which is applicable to a regular admission nor a discount for children. Kinda pricey for a family with kids. I read about the VIP tour from a comment by a Trip Advisor poster. Thanks!!

:-)

What%26#39;s the price? Can you get it cheaper on line before you go? If your a smaller group do they put you with others??

Thanks?

Texas,

The VIP tour cost $149.00 per person. I did not see a cheaper price for children. We were two adults with limited time and this tour was perfect for our situation. I cannot imagine how an average family could afford it. We were put on the noontime tour with 14 other adults. I would guess the tours would run with just a marginal number of people when they are charging that kind of money. I never checked ';on-line'; before our departure for a deal. Don%26#39;t know if they exist. AAA discount which is accepted on regular admission ($52) is NOT given on VIP tour. Doesn%26#39;t really make much sense.

Thanks Jal25!

Note if you arrive when the park opens (9:00 am) you won%26#39;t wait in lines.

I would only pay the extra $100 per person if I couldn%26#39;t get up in time.
