does the art travel as far as arrowhead pond and/or the baseball stadium?

Nope, don%26#39;t think so. It only goes to certain hotels. The baseball stadium is quite far away (relatively speaking). The pond is closer, but it is still out of the way. We went to a hockey game back in March 2003. We had to take a taxi (we didn%26#39;t have a rental). Getting there was fine, but getting back was difficult. They have an area for pickup, but there were no cabs waiting and of course there were many people looking for one so the few that showed up filled quickly. We were lucky that one of the hotels had it%26#39;s own shuttle (contracted). Once the driver had returned the guests to that hotel, he actually came back and picked up a few of us in his van. He went to 3 different hotels - ours was last, so we got to see a bit of the area, including the residential part, which you so often miss. I can%26#39;t remember the cost of the cab ride, but I think the shuttle driver got 10.00 from us.

If you are going to both a baseball and hockey game, it might be worth your while to rent a car for a couple of days. Depends on how low the rates are and how easy it would be to pickup and drop off the car.

Hope this helps some.

Hi tylerdad,

The previous poster is correct regarding the arts system. However, you could take the OCTA (the public bus system in Orange County) line 50 east on Katella which will take you both to Anaheim Stadium and the Arrowhead Pond. Check the schedule and map for this line (and other bus information) at http://www.octa.net

Like was said above, no it doesn%26#39;t. The OCTA bus option is probably your best bet, depending on where you%26#39;re coming from.

Also, just an aside that technically, the Pond is further away. Heading away (eastbound) from Disneyland on Katella, you will hit the Stadium first, then the 57 freeway, and then the Pond. Though the stadium is so large of a property that they are practically across the street from each other.

Oops, sorry about not know which was farther (pond vs. baseball stadium). I%26#39;ve actually not been to the stadium, but saw it on the way in from Orange County Airport. I obviously got turned around and is often the case for me, had no idea where I was.
