Hi,
I am thinking of going to watch a play while in San Diego and San Francisco. Do you have any suggestions? I would like to do something NON-TOURISTY.
Thanks
Shazia
Theatre / Movies ( Something Different and Not Touristy)!!!Check out this site for ideas. There is plenty of variety in the Bay Area. Maybe something will grab you.

Theatre / Movies ( Something Different and Not Touristy)!!!The theater scene is quite lively and can take you out of the Union Square area. You%26#39;ll find small theaters that are small, unvarnished spaces and a lot going on. One of my favorites is The Marsh, which often has one-person shows. They%26#39;ve got quite a few going on. Brian Copeland%26#39;s show, ';Not a Genuine Black Man'; has been extended and extended since last spring, it%26#39;s so good (I%26#39;ve seen it and would see it again).

Other folks have their favorite theaters, and there are many worthy of out-of-towners%26#39; attention. The bonus about the Marsh is that it%26#39;s in the Mission, where you can find a bite to eat easily among the many ethnic restaurants (Want Thai? Indian? Mexican? Salvadoran? Vietnamese? Italian? It%26#39;s all here).
