Help!

We are looking to book a trip for 5 nights at the end of September. We are a large family and will be bringing six of our seven children. (18yr old, 15, 9, 6, and twins who are 4)

We want to purchase the 4day Park Hopper, will have our suburban to get around if we have to, and are really looking for great, stress free accomodations.

Having a great hotel that is convenient, provides a good breakfast, free ART passes or has room for us all might be just a dream. Park passes will run us about $1500CA, and for probably 2 rooms we%26#39;re looking at big bucks for the five nights we want to stay.

Anyone with a large family that has done this!!!

We will be staying at the Desert Inn and Suites across the street from the main gate. While they only have a continental breakfast and I%26#39;m not sure about the ART passes, I know they have very reasonable rooms able to accomodate up to 10 people. It%26#39;s certainly not 5 star but extremely convenient if you need a decent place to stay and won%26#39;t be needing room service or other amenities like that. Good Luck

May God Bless your stay! May He provide Every need, financially, emotionally and give you strenght, both physical and mental. I only have one child, but I suggest going online and looking up ';Disnelyland lodging'; or Disneyland timeshare property and renting a house. This way you will have two bathrooms, kitchen, and a lower price than a hotel.

We stayed May of last year at the Carousel with 2 children and 4 adults. We had one of the rooms close to the front of the hotel which they call a suite. There was one bedroom fully separate, then one bed near the bathroom and one bedroom (without separating wall) off of the viewing/living room area. First, the negative:the mattresses were thin, there was only one bathroom and we had a window leak on one of the beds the first night. Now the positive: excellent price, a fabulous wonderful view of the park and a very short walk to the park. Overall this is a good hotel for the price with a larger group. Good Luck and Have fun.

We just stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites last week--I was with 7 teenage girls. It was QUITE basic but it was clean enough and very close to the park. It was great to walk 5 minutes from the park to have a snack in the room and put my feet up for awhile. There is a small refridge and microwave. Food is pricey, so try to get snacks to eat in the room. It%26#39;s inexpensive and there are suites with 4 queen beds and a sofa bed. Denny%26#39;s and IHOP are next door. It%26#39;s not an elegant experience by any means, but you aren%26#39;t going to spend a lot of time in the room anyway.

The Candy Cane Inn is pretty and pleasant, with down comforters and nice landscaping, and you could get adjoining rooms to house your kids. It%26#39;s about 50% more expensive and is about a block away from the Maingate. Both hotels have continental breakfasts.

4 days might be more than you need, but that depends on your needs, of course.

We like the Desert Inn also, very close to main gate. Even closer is the Best Western Park Place. In my experience the ';free breakfast'; at most of the budget hotels is not that great. We always get a room with a microwave %26amp; fridge and eat in the room.

It is so nice to be able to walk back to the room to change clothes, get a snack, etc. You might want to consider walkie talkies. That way your bigger kids can take off whle you play with the little ones.Mine are 9%26amp;13 and we just stared letting them do this with strict rules about when and where they are to check in, and it%26#39;s been great for all of us!
