Palm Motel

Has anyone had any feedback or personal experience with the Palm Motel in Santa Monica? I travel on a budget and if I could get into the Hostel on 2nd I%26#39;d stay there but they%26#39;re full during my visit. I%26#39;ve seen the Palm Motel website but haven%26#39;t found any reviews. I may have to stay there so I can write one.

Palm Motel

I wrote an article about this motel, though I haven%26#39;t stayed there (I live only a couple of miles away). From what I can tell, it%26#39;s a lovely place to stay, the staff is warm and the rooms clean and with good chi; the guests are laid back, many from foreign countries and foreign states. The owner is very nice and friendly too. Overall, a lovely, charming little place with lots of character and a very welcoming friendly, laid-back vibe, plus coffee and cookies in the morning.

Palm Motel

I have been thinking about staying there in Sept. for a few days. I have spoken to the manager who was very helpful however I have been unable though to get a real sense of what it is like. My biggest concern is cleanliness, I am not at all concerned about amenities. If you do end up staying there please let me know how it is. Thanks is advance.

I%26#39;m actually very friendly with the owner, and he is a very hands-on proprietor. He takes great pride in his motel. I haven%26#39;t stayed there, but can recommend it based on my conversations with him and how meticulous he is.
