Starline or Coach tours

What tour company should we pick? Starline or Coach. We are wanting to do Universal Studio and Los Angeles tour. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Resort Area and both tours pick up there. Should me wait and book tours when we get there or should we book on-line before we leave?

We have used Coach USA a couple of times to go to San Diego (Zoo %26amp; Sea World). We were quite happy both times and would use them again. They also go to Universal, Hollywood, Stars Homes, etc. What we also liked about them was that the drivers gave tours as they were driving and talked about the areas they were driving through.

We actually booked both times before we left, through our travel agents. They gave us vouchers that we then turned in at the main terminal. That is what Coach USA does, they pick up everyone at their hotels and then take them to their main terminal where you get off the bus and then purchase tickets or turn in vouchers at the ticket counter. Then you are reassigned to a specific bus depending on where you are going.

With the prebooking, we did not pick a specific day until we arrived in Anaheim. Then we just got the front desk or tour desk staff to call and reserve a spot for the day we wanted. That would probably mean that you could also book an actual tour when you get their - when you have a better idea of your plans and schedule.

Sorry, I can%26#39;t speak to Starline, but I hope this gives you a pretty good idea about Coach USA. I have a feeling that their tours in general are pretty similar. Have a great trip!

Someone suggested surfcitylimo to me when I posted a question about a private tour of Hollywood and LA.

I e-mailed them about 3-4 weeks ago wanting to make a booking and they%26#39;ve never replied to me, so I%26#39;m having doubts about how reliable they are, or maybe business is just booming and they%26#39;re not interested in tourists wanting to make a booking for only 3 hours.
