St. Helena Recommendations

We%26#39;re staying at the Adagio Inn in St. Helena in September. Anyone stayed there recently? Also, looking for dinner suggestions - I see Bistro Don Giovanni seems to be a few people%26#39;s favorite - any other favorites?

Martini House gets my vote.

St. Helena Recommendations

Terra and Tra Vigne are both very good. We also like Bistro Jeanty and Domaine Chandon in Yountville. Auberge du Soleil is very nice in Rutherford, sit out on the back patio and enjoy the views.

Wappo Bar %26amp; Bistro in Calistoga is heavenly. Dine out under the wisteria vines while you sip on the cucumber-flavored water. A nice way to start the afternoon before wine tasting in the area. We like lunch here. Cheers! :)

In St. Helena, we are planning to dine at Market (on Main Street) (www.marketsthelena.com) and possibly Cafe 29 (cafe29.com). Stomp (http://stomprestaurant.com/) in Calistoga also a possibility. All menus are online. I%26#39;ve seen great feedback on each in different places--would love to hear thoughts/comments from others.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Now all I have to do is narrow it down and make the reservations!

Hello TVRatings!

You have received some great suggestions on both threads. I would second Celadon in Napa as well at Martini House and Market, both in Saint Helena. Auberge has a fabulous view, but I would suggest visiting the lounge there for a cocktail or for lunch when you can really soak in the view and the good weather. Lastly, Stomp in Calistoga is also terrific.

Have a great time!
