Have you bought a socal pass at Costco in Anaheim?

If you%26#39;ve bought a socal pass at costco near disney lately, did you have to be a member? Are there temporary membership cards for foreigners like us aussies? I planned on buying mine there after seeing on mousesavers that you did not have to be a member to buy it, but maybe it %26#39;s just for online sales?

If I remember correctly...

You must be a member to purchase anything at Costco. They actually check for a card when you walk into the store and then scan it when you check out.

Some Costco%26#39;s will have visitor passes but you pay a premium on whatever you buy (I think it%26#39;s 10% but I could be wrong). You%26#39;ll have to check with the individual Costco wherehouse where you want to buy your passes at.

from a fellow aussie you are going to have a ball in Disneyland. Idont know anything about costco, but if you are looking for discount tickets etc, try Cleaver Brothers Discount Tours on Harbor Boulevard. They are located jsut south of the main entrance to Disney on Harbor Boulevard. I visted in April this year and found their ticket prices and discounts very good.

Costco Membership is $45, and yes, I believe you have to have membership to get the passes.

Maybe, if the savings you get from the discounted SoCal pass is greater than $45, then you might want to just get the membership.

We are currently in Disneyland, and it is the Happiest Place on Earth!

We did purchase our passes at Costco after we arrived, and saved $20 per ticket on the normal SO CA City pass price.

We are members of Costco in Canada, so the membership was not a problem.

You do have to be a member to purchase.

Will be posting more tips from our experience.

I emailed them and their reply was that I can buy them on the net, but have to be a member to buy in the store. Still at $80 cheaper for 4 tickets, the $45 membership seems okay. Thanks to all who replied

I live in Melbourne and am originally from Orlando (10 miles from WDW).Everytime we go back to the US , we stop and have our Disney fix in Anaheim..you are going to have a ball!!

I was under the assumption that to use the socal pass you actually had to prove that you were a resident of southern california? Am I mistaken? I%26#39;d like to know, cause this would be good news for us! :)

The CityPass ';Southern California Passes'; are for anyone. There are DL passes for socal residents but these are not the CityPass.
