Go SanFransciso Card

we are leaving in a couple days and purchased the Go Sanfrancisco card for 3 days. We must activate it the first day as we leave on the 4th day for Sonoma. Any ideas of must sees using the card and the most efficient way to use it and get the most value? It seems it costs us more than the value we are going to get from it. I feel like we lost money by purchasing it as many attractions/tours can only be used on the first day activated. our plan arrives at 11AM. Any suggestions would be great.

Go SanFransciso Card

I am pretty sure that once the card is activated, you have the number of days that the card is valid for to do anything in the book. In other words, with a ONE day card you have ONE day to do everything and with 3 day card you have 3 days to do anything that is in the book. If you do a majority of the activities in the book, I think it is a great value. If you don%26#39;t use it properly, it could be a waste like anything else.

Go SanFransciso Card

Unfortunately all the tours and some attractions are only good for the first day the card is activated. Something we didn%26#39;t realize until the card/book arrived.

I have a book and I read it and the information on the web site (link below). I don%26#39;t see anywhere it says some attractions are only good on the first day of a multiple day card. If you have a three day card, it is good for 3 days. There is a number on the site. Call them. There are some restrictions like you can only go to an attraction one time per day and things like that, but a three day card is good for all three days.

There must be someone out there who has used the card before...Help!

The phrase I am talking about is, ';The tour must be taken on the day you present your card for validation'; whichis listed on the pages for Sanfrancisco City Tour, Muir Woods and Sausalito tour, Monterey and Carmel tour, Deluxe Wine country Tour to name a few. I hope I am interpreting this phrase wrong as I would love to use the card for more than one tour.

I am under the impression that statement just means that once you present your card, you have to take the tour THAT day, meaning you can%26#39;t show up and present your card and take the tour the next day. You can however make reservations for some of those tours in advance for an additional $10. I think that the only attraction you must do on the first day is the Bay Cruise...I hope this is correct because I%26#39;ve planned my trip with that understanding. Let us know if you find out different, and I will try to call later today and try to get a better explanation.

Tigger Ok, if you have a chance to call today and reply that would be great. I leave at the break of dawn. I will respond when I am back regarding my experience.

I called and spoke with Ann at San Francisco GoCard and she confirmed that ANYTHING in the book is good during any of the three consecutive days once the card is activated including the Bay Cruise. Tigger%26#39;s understanding of the validation clause is correct. It means that you can not present the card one day for use on a different day.

We just returned from SF and you are absolutely right regarding the Go card. The wording in the book is deceiving. We used the card and found it was worth it%26#39;s purchase and would definitely recommend purchasing it.

That%26#39;s good to hear. Thanks for the update. I appreciate hearing how things turn out.
