can anyone tell me the best way to get from John Wayne to our motel directly across from Disneyland ??? We will be staying three nights.

The easiest way will be to just book with one of the airport shuttle companies. You can book in advance and get a voucher, or just book with them when you get there.

The cheapest option is to use the Disneyland Resort shuttle (has Disney characters on it). I think it only costs you about $10-15 from John Wayne. I don%26#39;t know how often it runs, but it will drop you off at the Disneyland Resport (near Downtown Disney was the most recent drop-off point I know of. It may have changed).

If you%26#39;re planning to do things other than Disney, you may want to consider a car rental, though many people get by without if they%26#39;re jsut doing tours and the like.

From JW Airport we have used both the shuttle bus and SuperShuttle. We were satisfied with both. The shuttle bus (with the Disney pictures on the side) is fine. It is less expensive, but makes more stops. How long it will take you to get to your hotel will depend on where it is on their route. The one problem with the bus is that it takes a break in the afternoon, so be sure you know the times so that one will be available when you get off your flight.

Super Shuttle was more convenient for us. We had booked ahead of time, but the driver waited until it was full before we left the airport. I think there were only 2 or 3 other sets of people. Because we were the first ones on, we were the first ones off. It was faster than the bus. When we go back again, we would probably take the SuperShuttle again. Our flight got in around 2 in the afternoon and as I recall, we went through the DL gates around 4 and were having an early supper at the Blue Bayou buy 4:30-4:45!

shuttles have per-person fees, youre already being gouged when you enter the park (lol), stick to a taxicab. They%26#39;re quick, easy, convenient and arent as sluggish as shuttle buses. Or any buses of that matter. A ride for 5 from most hotels in DL to JWA runs about $30 to $35. You also don%26#39;t have to wait through all the frequent stops a typical shuttle bus would make. =)
