Driving question

Hi

I%26#39;m considering a driving holiday in March.

My questions are distance/time it is betwen the following.

From LA to San Fransico?

Also San Fransico to Seattle? I know its a long way but is the drive something that can be done in a few days or are we talking a long time?

Also how far is Vancover from Seattle?

As you can see I%26#39;m looking to drive along the West Coast and would really like to visit these places.

All advice and ideas appreciated.

Driving question

It%26#39;s a 6 to 7 hours drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

Driving question

LA to San francisco is 382 miles and 6 hours driving without stopping

San Francisco to Seattle is 808 miles and 12 hours drive without stopping

Seattle to Vancouver is 143 miles and about 2.5 hours drive but probably takes a while longer to go across the border

Thank you so much.

Any ideas of best routes. Would like scenic route and would be stopping along the way.

The scenic route from LA to San francisoc would be highway 1 along the coast and would probably take about 8 hours driving time without stops and you will want ot make a lot of stops to admire the scenery.

San Francisco to Seattle you could take highway 5 which is pretty boring for a first few hours until you get near Mt Shasta (a volcano) and into Oregon where the road becomes more scenic. The really scenic route would be to take highway 101 through the northern California redwoods and then along the Oregon Coast before heading back inland onto highway 5. That route would take about 19 hours without stopping and would realistically need to be done over at least two days.
