Busiest rides-September

We are visiting Disneyland for 5 days in the last week of September. My daughters are 7 and 10. Which rides would you suggest to head to first (the busiest rides) and which rides would have the fastpasses. We wont be into the scary, thrillseeking rides- more the family type rides. If someone out there can point me in the right direction as to which rides to do first and get them out of the way, that would be great, thanks.

If you don%26#39;t care about Space Mtn and are looking for tamer rides, I would suggest getting a fastpass for the new Buzz Lightyear ride first thing. Also, check the Toontown opening times for the days you will be there. Roger Rabbit remains a popular ride with long waits. Wait at the gate for Toontown to open, send one parent HUSTLING to Mickey or Minnies house (whichever is you girls%26#39; fav) while the other gets fastpasses for Roger Rabbit (if available). Go wait in line to get your Mickey pic and then ride the ride. Get your pic out of the way early in the trip because you will be too sick of waiting in lines by the end of your stay. Smart move to go in Sept., if you%26#39;re lucky you won%26#39;t have too bad of crowds. YOU MUST CAMP OUT IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE to see the fireworks. I cannot stress this enough. If the show is at 10pm put your blanket out by 7 or 8 and take turns waiting, eat dinner on it picnic style, take a nap, whatever. it will be WELL WORTH IT! My husband is an ex- Disney exec, we have been to the park 1000 times, and the new fireworks blew us away. Again, watch them IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE. Have fun!

We went in September last year and were pleased with how nice it was. The weather was good, and there weren%26#39;t that many people compared to when we usually go (summer). It seems like the only ride we still had to wait a while to get on was Splash Mountain. I don%26#39;t know if you intend to take your daughters on that, but my 7 year old daughter absolutely loved it. If you%26#39;re going to CA I would suggest heading to Soarin Over California first, my absolute favorite ride there, it gets crowded also.

I JUST got back for disneyland and i would suggest if you can, If you buy more than one day passes to the park you get a day of early entery, which is at 7:00am opposed to the general admission time of 8am. the rides we waited for the most were its a small world, anything in toon town and if you want to see any shows get there early early. This year is teh 50th anniversay of the park so everything is really packed. the parade at 3:15. get there by 2 for GREAT seats. you dont have to be right in front of the castle to see the fireworks but if that is your choice we started camping out around 5pm and its worth it i guess. The other show with a huge crowd is fantasmic. it happens the same time as the fireworks so pick one day for the fireworks and one day for that. it defently wont be a dissapointment. But again be there early

hope this helps

Also, FYI, you may have noticd in other postings that people haev mentioned that the fireworks and Fantasmic will both be limited to wekeends only in late September. If you really want to see either, you will have to go on a weekend.

Jus tnoting this, to avoid any dissapointment when you get there on a weekday!
