My wife and I are visiting San Francisco in early October and I have been quietly following the forum and have picked many good points. We had decided on a certain hotel but reading the the comments on it we decided at the last minute before booking that it was not the one for us and chose another hotel adjacent to Union Square which was given glowing reports. Hoping to see all the local sights and looking forward to our first trip to the USA. Thanks again for all the input by the locals and is much appreciated.

You better enjoy Fleet Week while you still can. With the way San Francisco stands with the military, I wouldn%26#39;t be surprised if Fleet Week is canceled soon.

Wes, we booked ';The Chancellor Hotel'; as it seemed a very good location and fitted our needs. It also had received very good reviews on TripAdvisor unlike the one we very nearly booked when I originally set out to plan our holiday.

Your Hotel choice should make Wes very pleased! And I%26#39;m sure he%26#39;ll make your stay pleasing as well.

After reading the last posting I looked back at previous ones and now realise who you are Wes and look forward to meeting you on October 5th at the Chancellor.
